LUIZA MARINESCU

Luiza Marinescu, born in Romania, 2003, is a multi-media artist based in Toronto. She is currently studying Drawing and Painting at OCAD University and is expected to earn her BFA in 2025. She also holds a Regional Arts Program certificate at Cawthra Park Secondary School in Visual Arts. Marinescu has displayed work in local art galleries in Mississauga and has volunteered as an art educator and instructor. From 2015 to 2021, she has worked under artists Mila Duric and Fedor Yatsik as a student and her work has been displayed among others in galleries and now creates large installation works which transcends walls and the ground.
